New space to showcase latest area rug collections

Sterling, Va. – Seizing on the AmericasMart’s reconfiguration of the Building 1 home furnishings floors, Dôme Deco is adding a second showroom on site.

The Belgian company is looking to double its exposure at the Mart as part of its greater efforts to grow its U.S. division, which is based here and launched in January.

The new space is located in 15-A-6, and will be open in time for the Atlanta International Gift, Home Furnishings and Rug Market, Jan. 14-21. The January 2020 market will mark the first anniversary of the company’s “Cosmopolitan Living Collection” debut.

Dôme Deco’s existing showroom on the 13th floor will be focused on promoting the company’s “Immediate Delivery” goods, and will be open daily.

“With the new Atlanta showroom location, we are right where we need to be to grow this brand in the U.S.,” added U.S. distributor Sangeeta Gupta.

Scott McKearn, North American sales manager, said the parent company’s established reputation is the foundation for the division’s steadily increasing business with “upscale retailers and interiors designers.”

Dôme Deco will host a “Toast & Tour” grand opening at its showroom on Jan. 17 from 3 to 8 p.m.
